Itinerary

  • Arrive Guwahati as per the flight schedule / train timing. Overnight at Guwahati. (D)
  • Check out at 8.30 and proceed to Cherapunji by road
  • An enroute visit to UMIUM LAKE. (1hr)
  • Lunch on the way, at a restaurant near Shillong
  • Visit Elephant Falls
  • Arrive Cherapunji at 6 pm approximately. Check in at Cherapunji.
  • Dinner & Overnight at Cherapunji. (B, L, D)
  • Sightseeing Cherapunji
  • Visit Mausmai Cave, the Nau-kalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls
  • Lunch at Cherapunjee
  • Check out after Lunch and proceed to Mawlynnong
  • Visit the famous Root Bridge
  • Dinner and Overnight at Mawlynnong. (B, L, D)
  • Check out & proceed to Dawki, a village at Bangladesh Border. Enroute visit Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in India. Visit the world famous Root Bridge. After visiting ,Dawki Lake & Bangladesh Border return back to Shillong. Overnight at Shillong. (B, L, D)
  • After breakfast drive to Kaziranga National Park, the world heritage site, of one horned rhinoceros. Reaching their check in to the hotel. Overnight in Kaziranga. (B, L, D)
  • Early in the morning (5.30 am) for an elephant safari for 01 hour inside the park which is a world heritage site. After elephant safari, breakfast at hotel. Then visit Cultural Center at Kaziranga. Here you can enjoy the Folk dance & music of Assam. After Lunch go for a jeep safari, in the western range of the park. Overnight in Kaziranga. (B, L, D)
  • Morning drive to Bomdila. Enroute visit Tipi Orchidarium, a glass house with over 1000 Orchids. Overnight in Bomdila. (B, L, D)
Drive passing through typical Monpa village at Dirang. After viewing the beautiful valley of Dirang overlooking the river and inhabited by colourful tribals, proceed towards the Sela Pass (13703 ft) spend some lovely times by the paradise lake. Overnight in Tawang. (B, L, D)
Full day explore Tawang Monastery, founded by Mera Lama Lodre Gyaltso during 17th century A.D. a contemporary of the fifth Dalai Lama. Drive upto PT Shu Lake then return to visit Tawang War Memorial. Overnight at Tawang. (B, L, D)
Early morning, drive to Jang to get a breath taking view of waterfalls. Pay homage at the Jasawant Garh Indo Chinese War Memorial and downhill drive to DIRANG. Overnight in DIRANG. (B, L, D)
Drive back to BHALUKPUNG enroute visiting Nag Mandir, you can visit Kamming river. Overnight in BHALUKPUNG. (B, L, D)
Leave for Guwahati after breakfast. Afternoon you can enjoy the boat ride in Brahmaputra River for visiting Umananda Temple situated in a small river island in Brahmaputra. Overnight in GUWAHATI. (B, L, D)
In the morning visit the famous MAA KAMAKHYA Temple (famous shaktipeeth of India) Depart Guwahati by air/train. (B)
